Condiments, a certain downfall to most plans to attempt clean eating. You make the veggie burger or the amazing fish taco and you gunk it up with some mayo or ketchup filled topping full of unhealthy sugars or “bad” fats.
Pushing through my attempts to lose the belly fat I’ve put on over the past year, I decided why not share some great condiment trades that we love to use instead of those unhealthy options stored in the door of the fridge with all the other “dressings” and sugar filled condiments.
This super simple, non-packet based guacamole is super simple and quick!
- 2 ripe Haas Avocados
- 1 tbsp ground Cumin
- 1/2 tbsp Badia Complete Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp Fiesta Mexican Seasoning (you can use Chili Powder)
- 3 tbsp Salsa of choice (I like to mix it up with Red and Green Salsa)
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon
- Kosher Salt/Cracked Pepper, as desired
I love to top my burgers with this as and alternative to mayo. You can serve it on your favorite Tex-Mex Dish or as a side to some chips as a snack option. The possibilities are almost endless with this yummy bowl of goodness!
