Whatever you’ve got to do, give 100% of what you’ve got to get it done

You see that look on my face in the crazy photo!?  That’s how I have felt all week adding the #BOSUStrong Challenge to my marathon training and coaching schedule.  It has been a crazy busy week as I head into the two final weeks of long runs in my training for the Chicago Marathon in October and continuing to work at the Studio coaching our clients through classes.  Pushing myself beyond my limits, I find myself there a lot.  What I look forward to after marathon training is nurturing myself back to feeling stronger and healthier.  Though running is a HUGE passion in my life, adding so many miles has truly KICKED MY A$$!  Taper week can’t come soon enough, BUT this challenge has kept me on my toes and pushed me when I needed it the most to just keep going.

Here’s a little recap of what we did this week in the challenge:

Monday – #MountainClimbMonday – Show us your favorite way to climb that mountain

#MountainClimbMondaySometimes my struggle takes over my mind and breaks me down tries to defeat my determination to overcome.  Those are the moments when I know I must PUSH THROUGH!

Tuesday – #TempoTuesday – We want to see how you’re getting your heart rate up

#TempoTuesdayWednesday – #Burpees – Drop down and give us some #BURPEES! Even better if you can make them #BOSUBurpees!

#BOSUStrong Week 1Here’s my shot from the video I posted on my Facebook Page after the 3rd attempt to shoot my #BOSUBurpees for the challenge!  🙂

Thursday – #TotalBodyThursday – Show us your favorite total body cardio move

#TotalBodyThursdayThursday is a busy day for me!  I wake up and head to the studio to coach my 45-Minute BOSU Class and this week they worked the BOSU On the Minute and were so efficient we threw in a BONUS round!  These ladies CRUSHED that workout and all before 6:30am!

#TotalBodyThursday BOSU CrewFriday – #FreeFriday – Show us your favorite way to get your cardio on!

#FreeFridayWell, there’s certainly no doubt these days how I’m getting my cardio on.  Miles, miles and miles.  Finishing out this week has been good, I’ll round it completely out tomorrow as I get in my 18-19 miler for marathon training and earn that Sunday rest day!

So there’s the week in review!  We begin again on Monday morning and you can certainly bet there will be some fun prompts coming next week.  Don’t forget you DO NOT  have to own a BOSU to participate in the challenge.  Just make sure you tag @Bosu_Fitness and @FitApproach in your posts and use the hashtags #BOSUStrong and #SweatPink.  PRIZES FOLKS, PRIIIIZES!!  And don’t forget if you are ready to purchase a BOSU Balance Trainer of your own, use discount code BOSUSWEATPINK15 at checkout!

Until next week, stay strong, stay focused and stay true! PEACE * LOVE * RUN
