Whole30January 1, 2013 – Day 1 of my Whole30® Journey . . .

Here are my “9’s” of the Whole9 in the Whole30® Day Plan – Self-Evaluation (Goal-Setting)

S.M.A.R.T Goals (Specific/Measurable/Attainable/Relevant/Timely) Because it all begins with PLANNING!

  1. Nutrition – I will eat dinner at the table no less than 5 days per week even if alone and will designate on day for shopping and meal preparation for the week
  2. Sleep – I will shut off my phone and remove myself from watching television at least one  hour before bedtime Monday through Friday
  3. Stress Management – I will get up and walk around the block at least once every other hour during the work week
  4. Exercise – I will do some type of exerting exercise at least 6 days per week and will stick to my running training plan schedule
  5. Active Recovery – I will commit to attending yoga at least once per week and allowing myself recovery indulgences like Epsom Salt baths and Massage Therapy
  6. Injury Rehab – I will commit to not injure myself, but in the event that I do, I will not do activities that will aggravate my injury and prevent quick recovery
  7. Fun and Play – I will commit to spend more quality time with my husband on days we have downtime
  8. Personal Growth – I will read at least three books on nutrition during my Whole30®
  9. Temperance – I will not spend my downtime, when available, flopped on the couch in front of the television

No Cheating
